 Our Story

Our Neudale Farm Popcorn is grown on the family farm in Outagamie County.  In 1872 Heinrich Meyer established the Homestead.  Today, the fourth generation operates the expanded farm.  The name NEUDALE FARM, is the legacy of parents, Rosella and Joe Neuman.  What they started out as a few rows of popcorn grown in the family garden, expanded out to the field on the original homestead farm.  Jeanne and Roger are now the second generation of local popcorn growers, continuing the tradition that was started in 1986.

Each ear of popcorn is picked and husked by hand.  We dry the popcorn slowly to maintain even moisture throughout.  This assures that kernels will explode with that fresh, tender farm taste when popped.

After the popcorn is dried, each cob is manually fed into the corn sheller used by grand-parents.  The next step for our popcorn is a series of antique grain cleaners and sorters that remove any tiny kernels, discolored kernels and “Angel Wings” or chaff which will not pop.  The final steps; is to test for proper popping conditions using a moisture tester and a popping kettle on the kitchen stove.   The finished product is packaged with tender loving care under the NEUDALE FARM brand.
